Thompson Home Services, LLC

Thompson Home Services, LLC, hereby guarantees their workmanship is free from defects for a period of one year from the completion date.  Completion date is determined by the Installers initials and date as can be found on the Work Order and Work Order Receipt supplied to the Client upon completion.

Warranty is for labor only and carries the following limitations:

• Work has not been subject to accident, misuse, or abuse.

• Work has not been modified, altered, defaced, or had repairs made or attempted by others.

• Work is not damaged or otherwise unusable due to the Clients negligence, normal wear and tear, or acts of God.

• Thompson Home Services, LLC shall be given first opportunity to make any repairs, replacements, and/or correction to the defective work.

Warranty does not apply, or cover, the Client’s change in mind.  To include color, material, and/or design.  All materials used and installed are previously approved by the Client, any changes after the fact will be made at the Client’s sole expense.  Any and all changes made prior to the completion date are to be made in writing, and listed on the Work Order, if they are to be included in the Warranty.

 

Actions that void Warranty:

• Incomplete payment or Client’s refusal to pay the remaining balance once work is complete for any reason.

• If the Client or a Contractor on the Client’s behalf modifies work performed.

 

Work excluded from Warranty:

• Leaks as a direct result of the Client’s request to reuse water lines and valves from old fixtures when installing a new fixture.

• Failure of reused fixtures or furnishings, to include breaking and/or leaks.

• All material defects or failings, including but not limited to tile, vanities, grout, caulking etc.

• Drywall cracks as a direct result to earthquakes, frost heaves, structural shifting of any kind, or negligence.

• Material failure of any kind are not included in Warranty, whether purchased by Thompson Home Services, LLC or purchased by the Client.

 

Thompson Home Services, LLC shall be immediately notified in writing within ten days of Clients first knowledge of defect.  Warranty work shall be scheduled within a timely manner.  Warranty work does not extend the original Warranty period.  Thompson Home Services, LLC has the right to refund a portion of the payments receive in lieu of work completion of Warranty work.
